A look into how admissions to UG programs in the top universities and colleges have been affected by the new evaluation criteria for class 12 students in lieu of the board exams.

Students are unsure about how the admission process will work in colleges this year. Here’s what top institutes under the NIRF are planning in terms of the admission process.

Delhi University
Delhi University (DU) is likely to start the registration process for admission to undergraduate courses from 15th July, the university’s acting vice-chancellor PC Joshi said. The admission will be on the basis of merit or class 12 marks. However, due to the delay in the declaration of CBSE results, DU officials are considering a new method for admission. According to media reports, after the announcement of the new evaluation system by CBSE, the admission committee will hold a meeting this week to discuss the admission process.

Jamia Millia Islamia
